Innovative Internet Management Solutions from Freedom2

Trying to find a company that can provide a complete internet management solution, for the education sector or for business applications? Based in Chichester, Freedom2 is dedicated to creating a secure internet environment, through preventing inappropriate internet access and unwanted email to filtering viruses. Freedom2, who are part of the Imparo Group, launched two of their products; Freedom2Teach and Freedom2Cache at the BETT 2002 exhibition.

Freedom2Cache provides the means for teachers to download and store web derived material in advance of a lesson time. This solution includes the additional security of flexible web filtration, under local control, to protect against visiting unwanted websites.

Freedom2Teach is a powerful system that includes the facilities of Freedom2Cache with the addition of email filtering, remote access for teachers and pupils and full tracking and reporting of access and usage. Ultimately,it provides a safe, secure and monitored classroom learning environment for schools.

The innovative quality of the solutions resulted in them being nominated for an award, and since then the company has received further acclaim. Freedom2 also won an education based Smart Award for Innovation from the Department of Trade and Industry in January this year. As well as continually developingFreedom2 products, the company is, currently developing a feasibility study that will be available later this year. Today, Freedom2 supply eighteen LEAs across the country with their specialist internet management solutions.

As a result of their experience and success within the education market, Freedom2 are also in the process of developing a business internet management solution. This product is designed specifically for business and will be aimed at firms in the SME sector.
